Panelists Madeleine Albright, Rebecca Farmer, Kathleen McNamara, and Jennifer Windsor  will participate in a moderated discussion on the Arab Spring-- what it tells us about foreign policy and how change occurs in international politics, as well as the impact of the Arab Spring on the region and on U.S. national interests.

Madeleine K. Albright
Madeleine K. Albright is Chair of Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategy firm, and Chair of Albright Capital Management LLC, an investment advisory firm focused on emerging markets. She is the Mortara Distinguished Professor in the Practice of Diplomacy at the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. Dr. Albright received a B.A. with Honors from Wellesley College, and Master’s and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University’s Department of Public Law and Government, as well as a Certificate from its Russian Institute.

Rebecca Farmer
Rebecca 'Becky' Farmer is a student in the MSFS program and serves as Co-President of Georgetown Women in International Affairs (GWIA). Prior to attending Georgetown, Becky worked at Harvard University’s Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division, and the U.S. Embassy in Cairo. She lived in Cairo for several years, including the duration of the Arab Spring, and has traveled extensively throughout the Middle East. She received her BA from Carleton College.

Kathleen R. McNamara
Kathleen R. McNamara is an Associate Professor of Government and Foreign Service and Director of the Mortara Center for International Studies at Georgetown University. She is a participant in a variety of government and NGO policy groups, a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and is an executive board member of the Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control. She received her PhD from Columbia University and her BA from McGill University.

Jennifer L. Windsor
Jennifer L. Windsor is Associate Dean of Programs at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. From 2001 to 2010, Ms. Windsor served as the Executive Director of Freedom House, a non-partisan, non-profit organization which supports the expansion of freedom in the world through its analysis, advocacy, and action. Ms. Windsor is a graduate of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University and Harvard University.
